Technical Translation Between Specifications, Development, and the Customer
A supplier was working with complex OEM specifications and multiple external partners. While the requirements were formally known, misunderstandings regarding technical interpretation and evaluation occurred repeatedly.
Problem Statement
Key technical points were lost in coordination processes, and while the supporting documentation was formally complete, it did not provide a clear basis for decision-making. Key technical points were lost in coordination processes, and while the supporting documentation was formally complete, it did not provide a clear basis for decision-making.
My Solution
I took on the role of technical translator between the specification, development, and the customer. This involved the structured interpretation of requirements, the derivation of clear technical targets, and the preparation of decision-relevant arguments and documentation.
Result
Communication among all stakeholders became significantly clearer and more efficient. Technical decisions could be made on a sound basis and defended in a transparent manner, which reduced development time and coordination efforts.
